Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Narara Valley and Ourimbah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (3,128 people or 18.9%)
  • Retail Trade (1,739 people or 10.5%)
  • Construction (1,542 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,409 people in total or 38.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Warnervale - Wallarah - Bushells Ridge employed 16.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.9% in Retail Trade; and 14.7% in Construction.
