Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in East Brisbane Water District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,887 females or 28.0%)
  • Education and Training (899 females or 13.4%)
  • Retail Trade (722 females or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,508 females in total or 52.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Umina Beach - Pearl Beach - Patonga employed 26.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.2% in Education and Training; and 11.0% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of the East Brisbane Water District and Umina Beach - Pearl Beach - Patonga were:
