Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Narara Valley and Ourimbah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,391 females or 29.2%)
  • Retail Trade (1,015 females or 12.4%)
  • Education and Training (990 females or 12.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,396 females in total or 53.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Terrigal - North Avoca employed 26.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.9% in Retail Trade; and 14.7% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Narara Valley and Ourimbah and Terrigal - North Avoca were:
