Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Green Point in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (429 females or 29.1%)
  • Education and Training (197 females or 13.4%)
  • Retail Trade (176 females or 11.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 802 females in total or 54.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Kincumber South - Bensville - Empire Bay - Killcare employed 24.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.9% in Education and Training; and 10.3% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Green Point and Kincumber South - Bensville - Empire Bay - Killcare were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (29.1% compared to 24.5%)
