Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Woongarrah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (329 females or 23.7%)
  • Retail Trade (201 females or 14.5%)
  • Education and Training (156 females or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 686 females in total or 49.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Bateau Bay employed 26.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.9% in Retail Trade; and 15.9% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Woongarrah and Bateau Bay were:
