Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in the Valleys District in 2021 compared to Killarney Vale - Tumbi Umbi shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 40.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.1% were one-parent families, compared with 29.9% and 14.6% respectively for Killarney Vale - Tumbi Umbi.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children.
