Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Southern Lakes and The Entrance in 2021 compared to Tuggerawong - Tacoma - Rocky Point shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 19.3% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 20.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 20.0% and 18.8% respectively for Tuggerawong - Tacoma - Rocky Point.
