Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of Southern Lakes and The Entrance in 2021 compared to Toukley - Canton Beach shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 19.3% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 20.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 15.9% and 28.4% respectively for Toukley - Canton Beach.
