Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of East Brisbane Water and Coastal in 2021 compared to Regional NSW shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 19.6% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 22.0% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.7% and 21.2% respectively for Regional NSW.
