Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of West Brisbane Water and Peninsula in 2021 compared to East Gosford - Point Frederick shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 18.4% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 22.1% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.6% and 21.7% respectively for East Gosford - Point Frederick.
