Dominant groups

In 2021, there were 24,007 separate houses in the area, 4,856 medium density dwellings, and 850 high density dwellings.

Analysis of the types of dwellings in East Brisbane Water and Coastal in 2021 shows that 80.2% of all dwellings were separate houses; 16.2% were medium density dwellings, and 2.8% were in high density dwellings, compared with 77.8%, 19.9%, and 1.1% in the the Toukley District respectively.
