Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Narara Valley and Ourimbah in 2021 compared to Blue Haven shows that 90.3% of the households owned at least one car, while 5.6% did not, compared with 93.6% and 2.9% respectively in Blue Haven.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.

Overall, 34.8% of the households owned one car; 36.7% owned two cars; and 18.8% owned three cars or more, compared with 32.8%; 39.8% and 21.1% respectively for Blue Haven.
