Dominant groups

Overall, 8.4% of the male population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 6.9% for Central Coast Council area.
The major differences in the male age groups reporting a need for assistance in San Remo - Doyalson - Colongra and Central Coast Council area were:
- A larger percentage of males aged 80 to 84 (35.3% compared to 21.0%)
- A larger percentage of males aged 65 to 69 (15.5% compared to 8.7%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 75 to 79 (7.0% compared to 14.5%)
- A smaller percentage of males aged 85 and over (32.1% compared to 37.9%)
