Dominant groups

Analysis of the housing tenure of households of Fitzroy in 2021 compared to Collingwood shows that there was a larger proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a smaller proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a smaller proportion who were renters.

Overall, 17.0% of households owned their dwelling; 18.6% were purchasing, and 54.8% were renting, compared with 10.2%, 21.1% and 61.2% respectively for Collingwood.
