Analysis of the household/family types of males in the City of Yarra in 2021 compared to City of Yarra - Total population shows that there was a similar proportion of males in couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion in one-parent families. Overall, 26.9% of males were in couple families with child(ren), and 6.1% were one-parent families, compared with 26.6% and 7.6% respectively for City of Yarra - Total population.
There were a lower proportion of males in lone person households and a higher proportion in couples without children. Overall, the proportion of males in lone person households was 17.0% compared to 18.1% in City of Yarra - Total population while the proportion in couples without children was 29.7% compared to 27.6% in City of Yarra - Total population.
