Dominant groups

Analysis of the females in the City of Yarra in 2021 compared to City of Yarra - Total population shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 10.4% of the females were aged between 0 and 14, and 12.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 10.6% and 11.8% respectively for City of Yarra - Total population.

The major differences between the five year age groups of females in the City of Yarra and City of Yarra - Total population were:
