Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Fitzroy in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,451 males or 46.9%)
  • Managers (555 males or 17.9%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (246 males or 7.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,252 males in total or 72.8% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Fitzroy North employed 48.3% in Professionals; 19.3% in Managers; and 8.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
