Dominant groups
Analysis of the qualifications of the non-English speaking population in the City of Yarra in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Yarra shows that there was a lower proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 59.6% of the City of Yarra - Total population speaking population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 36.5% had no qualifications, compared with 71.6% and 21.5% respectively for the total population in the City of Yarra.
