Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Collingwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,195 people or 20.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (800 people or 13.5%)
  • Education and Training (498 people or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,493 people in total or 42.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, IMP region employed 17.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 11.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.7% in Education and Training.
