An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Collingwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,195 people or 20.2%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (800 people or 13.5%)
- Education and Training (498 people or 8.4%)
