An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North Rocks in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (1,442 people or 33.2%)
- Managers (724 people or 16.6%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (641 people or 14.7%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,807 people in total or 64.5% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, The Hills Shire employed 32.5% in Professionals; 18.9% in Managers; and 15.0% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major difference between the jobs held by the population of North Rocks and The Hills Shire was:
