Beaumont Hills is bounded by Withers Road in the north, Smalls Creek and Samantha Riley Drive in the east, Windsor Road in the south, and the suburb of Rouse Hill, Drummond Road, Sanctuary Drive, Bridgewood Drive and Withers Road in the west.

Name origin

Beaumont Hills is thought to be named after the birthplace of the wife of A V Jennings.

Settlement history

Settlement of the area dates from the early 1800s, with land used mainly for farming and orcharding. Population was minimal until residential development of the area began in the late 1990s. The population increased rapidly between 1996 and 2006 as large numbers of new dwellings were added to the area. Growth continued between 2006 and 2011, but at a slower rate, as new dwellings continued to be added.

Major features of the area include Beaumont Hills Shopping Centre, Beaumont Hills Community Centre, Beaumont Hills Park, Dudley Reserve, Turkeys Nest Park and two schools.

This area encompasses most of the suburb of Beaumont Hills, with the north-western section included in the Rouse Hill small area.
