Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Rural North in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (502 people or 20.7%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (468 people or 19.3%)
  • Professionals (432 people or 17.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,402 people in total or 57.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, The Hills Shire employed 18.9% in Managers; 9.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 32.5% in Professionals.
