Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North Rocks in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (627 people or 14.4%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (494 people or 11.3%)
  • Education and Training (468 people or 10.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,589 people in total or 36.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, The Hills Shire employed 13.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 9.3% in Education and Training.
