Occupation of employment
There were more managers in Mountains in 2021 than any other occupation.
Mountains's occupation statistics quantify the occupations in which the residents work (which may be within the residing area or elsewhere). Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mountains in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Managers (407 people or 21.9%)
- Professionals (318 people or 17.1%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (281 people or 15.1%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,006 people in total or 54.2% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, East Gosford - Point Frederick employed 14.4% in Managers; 28.6% in Professionals; and 10.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Mountains and East Gosford - Point Frederick were:
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Managers (21.9% compared to 14.4%)
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (15.1% compared to 10.4%)
