The size of Peninsula District's labour force in 2016 was 14,989, of which 4,902 were employed part-time and 8,032 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Peninsula District in 2016 compared to Tuggerawong - Tacoma - Rocky Point shows that there was a similar proportion in employment, as well as a similar proportion unemployed. Overall, 91.9% of the labour force was employed, and 8.1% unemployed, compared with 92.1% and 7.9% respectively for Tuggerawong - Tacoma - Rocky Point.
