Dominant groups
The size of West Brisbane Water and Peninsula's labour force in 2021 was 22,978, of which 7,630 were employed part-time and 11,572 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in West Brisbane Water and Peninsula in 2021 compared to Mountains District shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 94.7% of the labour force was employed, and 5.3% unemployed, compared with 96.2% and 3.8% respectively for Mountains District.
