Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Northern District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (3,041 females or 29.3%)
- Education and Training (1,558 females or 15.0%)
- Retail Trade (1,116 females or 10.8%)
In combination, these three industries employed 5,715 females in total or 55.2% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Christie Downs employed 30.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.6% in Education and Training; and 17.4% in Retail Trade.
