Dominant groups
Analysis of the household/family types in Moana in 2021 compared to the City of Onkaparinga shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 31.0% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.5% were one-parent families, compared with 28.1% and 13.0% respectively for the City of Onkaparinga.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children.
