Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Warranwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (352 people or 12.9%)
  • Education and Training (334 people or 12.2%)
  • Construction (309 people or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 995 people in total or 36.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Maroondah employed 14.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.2% in Education and Training; and 10.8% in Construction.
