Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Craigmore in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (745 people or 15.0%)
  • Retail Trade (624 people or 12.5%)
  • Manufacturing (531 people or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,900 people in total or 38.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Playford employed 15.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.1% in Retail Trade; and 9.9% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Craigmore and the City of Playford were:
