Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Elizabeth North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (157 people or 15.4%)
  • Manufacturing (128 people or 12.6%)
  • Retail Trade (128 people or 12.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 413 people in total or 40.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Playford employed 15.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.9% in Manufacturing; and 12.1% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Elizabeth North and the City of Playford were:
