Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Elizabeth Downs in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Retail Trade (216 people or 15.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (199 people or 14.3%)
  • Manufacturing (155 people or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 570 people in total or 41.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Playford employed 13.1% in Retail Trade; 13.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.5% in Manufacturing.
