Dominant groups

Analysis of female individual income levels in Punchbowl in 2021 compared to Greenacre - Mount Lewis - Chullora shows that there was a lower proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 2.5% of the female population earned a high income, and 52.7% earned a low income, compared with 3.5% and 52.1% respectively for Greenacre - Mount Lewis - Chullora.

The major differences between Punchbowl's female individual incomes and Greenacre - Mount Lewis - Chullora's female individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of females who earned $800 - $999 (7.1% compared to 5.8%)
  • A larger percentage of females who earned $300 - $399 (12.5% compared to 11.6%)
