Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Smithfield in 2021 compared to South Australia shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 21.0% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 20.5% were one-parent families, compared with 26.9% and 10.8% respectively for South Australia.
