Dominant groups

Analysis of the year of arrival for the overseas born Non-English speakers speaking population of the City of Playford in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Playford shows that there was a smaller proportion of people who arrived before 2010, and a larger proportion of recent overseas arrivals (those who arrived between 2016 and 2021).

Overall, 50.1% of the overseas born Non-English speakers speaking population arrived before 2010, and 22.9% arrived during or after 2016, compared with 69.7% and 13.0% respectively for the total population in the City of Playford.

The major differences between the year of arrival data of the Non-English speakers speaking population of the City of Playford and the total population in the City of Playford were:
