Analysis of the car ownership of the households in the City of Playford in 2021 compared to Hillbank shows that 85.1% of the households owned at least one car, while 8.8% did not, compared with 96.2% and 2.0% respectively in Hillbank.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 34.6% of the households owned one car; 32.9% owned two cars; and 17.5% owned three cars or more, compared with 26.6%; 43.3% and 26.3% respectively for Hillbank.
