Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Maroondah in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (6,946 males or 23.2%)
  • Professionals (6,833 males or 22.8%)
  • Managers (4,960 males or 16.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 18,739 males in total or 62.6% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Manningham employed 15.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 28.5% in Professionals; and 21.3% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Maroondah and the City of Manningham were:
