Dominant groups

Analysis of the non-English speaking population in the City of Maroondah in 2021 compared to the total population in the City of Maroondah shows that there was a higher proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 20.3% of the non-English speaking population was aged between 0 and 14, and 11.6% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.3% and 17.6% respectively for the total population in the City of Maroondah.
