Analysis of the household/family types in Ringwood in 2021 compared to Croydon Major Activity Centre shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 28.3% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 10.4% were one-parent families, compared with 15.0% and 13.7% respectively for Croydon Major Activity Centre.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 29.3% compared to 43.3% in Croydon Major Activity Centre while the proportion of couples without children was 23.7% compared to 18.8% in Croydon Major Activity Centre.
