Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Croydon in 2021 compared to the City of Maroondah shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 19.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 17.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.4% and 15.8% respectively for the City of Maroondah.
