Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ashbury in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (294 females or 39.1%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (176 females or 23.4%)
  • Managers (128 females or 17.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 598 females in total or 79.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Cooks River Catchment area employed 34.4% in Professionals; 18.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 12.9% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Ashbury and Cooks River Catchment area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (39.1% compared to 34.4%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (23.4% compared to 18.9%)
