An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Yagoona in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Technicians and Trades Workers (616 males or 18.5%)
- Professionals (566 males or 17.0%)
- Machinery Operators And Drivers (462 males or 13.8%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,644 males in total or 49.3% of the employed male resident population.
In comparison, Canterbury Ward employed 17.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 23.9% in Professionals; and 8.6% in Machinery Operators And Drivers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Yagoona and Canterbury Ward were:
