Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Belmore in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (360 males or 13.3%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (310 males or 11.5%)
  • Retail Trade (257 males or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 927 males in total or 34.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Canterbury Bankstown employed 13.0% in Construction; 10.9% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 9.5% in Retail Trade.
