Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Yagoona in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (467 males or 14.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (431 males or 12.9%)
  • Retail Trade (320 males or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,218 males in total or 36.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Canterbury Bankstown employed 13.0% in Construction; 10.9% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 9.5% in Retail Trade.
