Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Riverwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (136 males or 12.1%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (135 males or 12.0%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (112 males or 9.9%)
In combination, these three industries employed 383 males in total or 34.0% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Panania - East Hills employed 14.3% in Construction; 10.0% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 8.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Riverwood and Panania - East Hills were:
- A larger percentage of males employed in transport, postal and warehousing (12.0% compared to 10.0%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in construction (12.1% compared to 14.3%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in public administration and safety (4.6% compared to 6.7%)
