Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Picnic Point in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Education and Training (302 females or 19.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (289 females or 18.8%)
  • Retail Trade (122 females or 7.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 713 females in total or 46.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Earlwood employed 15.3% in Education and Training; 17.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.3% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Picnic Point and Earlwood were:
