Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Roselands in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (460 females or 20.0%)
- Education and Training (302 females or 13.1%)
- Retail Trade (279 females or 12.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,041 females in total or 45.2% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Belmore employed 21.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.9% in Education and Training; and 11.2% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Roselands and Belmore were:
- A larger percentage of females employed in transport, postal and warehousing (4.8% compared to 3.1%)
- A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (13.1% compared to 11.9%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed in accommodation and food services (4.4% compared to 6.4%)
- A smaller percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (20.0% compared to 21.9%)

The number of employed females in Roselands increased by 173 between 2016 and 2021.
The largest changes in the jobs held by the female resident population between 2016 and 2021 in Roselands were for those employed in:

- Education and Training (+54 females)
- Accommodation and Food Services (-52 females)
