Dominant groups
Analysis of female individual income levels in Ashbury in 2021 compared to Revesby Ward shows that there was a higher proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 15.8% of the female population earned a high income, and 37.0% earned a low income, compared with 7.4% and 40.3% respectively for Revesby Ward.
The major differences between Ashbury's female individual incomes and Revesby Ward's female individual incomes were:
- A larger percentage of females who earned $2,000 - $2,999 (8.9% compared to 5.4%)
- A larger percentage of females who earned $3,500 or more (4.1% compared to 1.0%)
- A larger percentage of females who earned $3,000 - $3,499 (2.8% compared to 1.0%)
- A smaller percentage of females who earned $800 - $999 (5.3% compared to 7.7%)
