The size of the City of West Torrens's recent overseas arriving labour force in 2021 was 4,149 persons, of which 2,020 were employed part-time and 1,702 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status of the recent overseas arriving population (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of West Torrens in 2021 compared to Greater Adelaide shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, as well as a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 93.6% of the recent overseas arriving labour force was employed, and 6.4% unemployed, compared with 91.3% and 4.0% respectively for Greater Adelaide.
