Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Castle Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,305 males or 14.7%)
- Construction (1,036 males or 11.6%)
- Financial and Insurance Services (793 males or 8.9%)
In combination, these three industries employed 3,134 males in total or 35.2% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Glenhaven employed 13.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 15.4% in Construction; and 7.4% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Castle Hill and Glenhaven were:
- A larger percentage of males employed in accommodation and food services (4.4% compared to 2.8%)
- A larger percentage of males employed in financial and insurance services (8.9% compared to 7.4%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in construction (11.6% compared to 15.4%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed in other services (3.0% compared to 4.4%)

The number of employed males in Castle Hill decreased by 83 between 2016 and 2021.
The largest changes in the jobs held by the male resident population between 2016 and 2021 in Castle Hill were for those employed in:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (+167 males)
- Financial and Insurance Services (+140 males)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (+79 males)
- Wholesale trade (-74 males)
