Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Castle Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,305 males or 14.7%)
  • Construction (1,036 males or 11.6%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (793 males or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,134 males in total or 35.2% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Glenhaven employed 13.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 15.4% in Construction; and 7.4% in Financial and Insurance Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Castle Hill and Glenhaven were:
